Welcome to Stroopies.com!
Any American who has traveled to Holland has enjoyed the Dutch Stroopwafel – a rich, flavorful, caramel delight – best enjoyed with a warm beverage or as a snack. Now you can get Stroopies in Lancaster, PA. Established in 2008, Stroopies are made with the same classic ingredients and flavor that you will experience in Holland: the perfect blend of cinnamon and caramel. The Stroopie Co. exists to support refugees who are starting over in Lancaster by providing meaningful employment and making high quality cookies to sell in Lancaster and all over the US. The Stroopie Co. has a heart to use business for the common good, to be a safe place for our employees to learn English and get reestablished. We are based in Lancaster, PA, in the heart of PA Dutch country. Stroopies are produced locally using all natural ingredients to bring you the authentic Dutch Stroopwafel experience. In 2010, Jonathan & Jennie Groff joined the Stroopie family. Since then our US operation has continued to move forward introducing our same loved Stroopies with delectable chocolate dipped options….like our Stroopie dipped in gourmet dark chocolate with crushed pecans as a topper.
Our US operation is based at Groff’s Candies located at 3587 Blue Rock Rd., Lancaster PA. In May 2016, we plan to move The Stroopie Co. to Lancaster City at 141 North Duke St. We will make and sell our Stroopies from the Lancaster Sweet Shoppe. So come find us and have a fresh warm Stroopie. The Lancaster Sweet Shoppe will also be the home of a city branch for Groff’s Chocolates, and a scoop shoppe where Pine View Dairy Ice Cream will be featured.
